Pumpkin Spice  Butterscotch Cookies
Ingredients
 
2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
2   teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 sticks softened butter
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups fresh pureed pumpkin
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanillla
2 cups butterscotch chips
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
 
Pre heat oven 375
Combine flour, pumpkin pie spice , baking powder, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.  Beat butter and sugar in large mixer b owl until creamy, add pumpkin, eggs and vanilla extract. Gradually add flour mixture add butterscotch chips and nuts.  Drop by rounded tablespoons on baking sheets
Bake 12-17 minutes or until edges are lightly browned
